Design and supervision of a ground-floor apartment with a rooftop terrace, designed to accommodate the future addition of two upper floors, in Heraklion, Attica.
The building’s minimalist volume is accentuated by both functional and purely architectural elements: vertical shading and privacy screens, contrasting textures, prismatic forms, and a sloping canopy on the rooftop terrace.
The rooftop terrace serves as an outdoor extension of the residence’s main living areas and the surrounding landscape. At the same time, its design accommodates its current use while incorporating the necessary provisions for a potential future vertical extension.
